OFI Crete wasn’t good against Levadeiakos, in the away game of the 10th Round of the Greek Super League. But the referee didn’t allow the Cretans to overcome their weaknesses.

Home team took the lead after 26 minutes, when Stanojevic took the rebound for 1-0.

OFI Crete struggled to equalize before half time and did so after 42 minutes, when Nikos Korovesis was given a penalty kick that Christos Aravidis converted to 1-1.

The Cretans didn’t have any time to enjoy this, as just in the next minute, referee Gratsanis had a (first) weird decision giving a non-existing foul to Levadeiakos, although it was inside the box, so it should have been a penalty (if there was any foul). Stanojevic took the kick and surprised OFI’s goalkeeper Giorgos Strezos, that sent it to hit the post and then the goal line, before the defenders push it away. But the referee and his assistant awarded a goal for Levadeiakos (2-1), without any hesitation! Although the replay indicates the ball never crossed the line. Very poor decision.

In the second half, OFI tried to come back in the game, the home team defended effectively and the Cretan team suffered a very painful defeat.
