Celebration day was Saturday (5/5) at Yedi Kule, with thousands of fans gathering to applaud OFI players and manager Nikos Papadopoulos for gaining promotion to the greek Super League.

Apollon, the last team that beat OFI this season, managed to keep the home team to zero just for 45 minutes.

Second half was a goal galore for OFI. It was the Ivorian forward, Patrick Vouho, that made the start, in the 46th minute, with a header, after a nice cross from Jose Coelho (1-0).

4 minutes later, it was Dimitris Manos' turn to score with a header, getting the assist from Vasilis Koutsianikoulis (2-0).

64th minute, Koutsianikoulis served another goal, this time to Vouho putting his head for 3-0.

Stunning goal in the 84th minute, when Dimitris Manos, from a tight angle, managed to chip the ball over the keeper, receiving a standing ovation (4-0). Manos is still leading the scoring table with 24 goals in 24 games!

OFI could have scored more but saw the ball hitting the post twice with Koutsianikoulis (21') and Manos (78').

OFI Crete and Papadopoulos have agreed terms

Before the game, OFI Crete announced that an initial agreement with Nikos Papadopoulos has been reached. So, the 46-year-old manager will continue leading OFI for the following season in Super League. More information will be given upon the contract signing.
